Gabby is currently taking a nap. I figured I’d hop on the computer really quick and say hello! =) We had a pretty nice day so far. We woke up and had a yummy breakfast, relaxed at home for a bit then headed to the playground for a playdate. Some of Gabby’s friends from school were at the playground as well, so she had a blast playing with everyone! And I enjoyed hanging out with my friend. I’m so happy that the JJ Byrne playground finally re-opened and for once it wasn’t disgustingly crowded. LOL Now let’s hope the playground closest to our place doesn’t take too long to re-open as well! I feel like JJ Byrne took forever!

Last month I went to The Makeup Show here in NYC. Last night I decided to  test out the “BLING FINGERS” nail strips I bought at the show. The process of putting them on wasn’t so bad. On the package it says it lasts up to a week, however…My nails look pretty beat up already! LOL It’ll probably last a week for those without kids. haha

I did Gabby’s nails too with what I had left! It worked out perfectly since her nails are so little. She really enjoyed me doing her nails as well! =) Gabby is funny. She is quite the girly tomboy! One minute she is playing with her dolls, the next she is playing with her race cars!

Speaking of Gabby. I am so upset that she wasn’t accepted into any of the Public Pre-K programs we signed up for! So now come Monday I have to call all the schools and add her to a wait list. I hope her dad and I are able to get her into a good pre k program for the fall.  The Pre-K process is done via a lottery,so I guess we just didn’t get lucky. Smh.. Way to add another stress to my life NYC DOE!

Ok enough on that rant…I can go on and on…Guess what?? sigh….So I ended up joining the whole Fifty Shades of Grey bandwagon. LOL I’m on the third book right now…but more on that later.
