Beyonce is pregnant with her 1st child! Congrats to her and her husband Jay-Z. The singer looked radiant last night at the MTV Video Music Awards.  Good luck with your pregnancy B! You and J are going to be awesome parents. =)

I was looking forward to being off of work for a few days since Gabby’s dad had to go out of town. (He’s in Arizona right now,lucky guy!) I figured we’d go out and explore,have some play dates, enjoy what is left of summer. Boy, was I wrong…Instead we are stuck at home due to Hurricane Irene.

It’s crazy since just a few days ago we experienced an earthquake here in NYC. (*I didn’t even feel ,but still lol ) Mother Nature is going crazy right now! Kinda freaks me out. Although we are stuck inside we’re going to make it a fun weekend nonetheless! We’re stocked up and ready for you Irene!

GO AWAY IRENE!

Nothing like a good ol’ Brooklyn block party. I didn’t even realize how many children lived on my block until today! I got to meet a few neighbors I hadn’t met before. Good times. Gabby played in the sprinklers,chilled with some of her new friends across the street and bounced like crazy in the bouncy house. I got to talk to some of the other mommy’s on the block and munch on some good bbq food.
