Happy Turkey Day! Hope everyone had a good day with loved ones. Gabby and I went to my best friend Melissa’s house. The food and wine was so delicious. It was so much fun. Her family is basically like my family so I always feel right at home there. And she lives super close which is awesome! Unfortunately my mother didn’t have the day off. I did however bring a plate of food home for her to have when she gets off. :)

Speaking of my mother,I am so thankful for her. She’s an amazing mother who has always worked her butt of to provide me with a good life. I don’t know what I’d do without her! I’m thankful for my gorgeous child who means the world to me. I’m thankful for my good friends who are like family to me,because I honestly believe it doesn’t matter if your blood related or not. Sometimes your friends care more about you then so-called family. I’m thankful for my ‘baby daddy’ LOL he is such a great daddy and good friend of mine now. I’m thankful to be alive and living the life I’m living. Sure things are tough at times,but what doesn’t kill you-makes you stronger.

So yeah…Happy thanksgiving,turkey day…watever u wanna call it. Although we should be thankful all the time,not just once a year. ;)

Sorry I haven’t posted anything lately. I’ve been in this funk for the last week and a half or so. I’m trying to get out of it but its hard. I’m frustrated because I can’t find a job. I really want to work even if its part time. I don’t care if its 5 hours a week. I just want some extra money to feel more comfortable.

I hate being stressed due to financial woes. I want to go back to school but this brings me back to lack of money. I have to pay off a small loan back from when I attended school in California before I can get any sort of financial asistance here. Job gods please help me out and get me a job!!!! Please!! Pretty please? I’m so sick of filling out applications and not hearing anything back. I’m sick of walking into stores and having them tell me to come back in January because they are done hiring for now. I’m sick of going to interviews and not having them calling me back.

This is making me so unmotivated. On top of that my ‘love life’ (Why is it even called that when there is no ‘love’ at all??)sucks. I’m an emotional mess right now I suppose. I really wish I cared less about certain things and situations.

I’m glad my little munchkin brings so much happiness to my life. I don’t know what I’d do without her. She’s the only joy in my life at this moment. This week was especially shitty for me but I’m hoping this new week I will feel better. I’m going to try my best and stay positive. I gotta get rid of this mommy blues I have.

The M.I.L.F’s Night Out

This past Saturday,some of my girlies and I had a night out. We went to Angels and Kings on East 11th and Avenue A in NYC. Our friend Chris was DJing. You can hit him up on Twitter @JDTurk :) . Chris had us dancing all night long. I had a really good night. It had been a while since I had a decent night out. Although I am a momma now,its nice to go out every now and then.

Today Gabby aka monsta aka munchkin aka the cutest and bestest thing in my life turned 20 months old! Time is flying by! I remember when she was 1st born so its really hard to believe she’s going to be 2 in a few short months.

Her dad and I already got a theme in mind for her birthday. Here’s a hint: “who lives in a pinapple under the sea?” Lol We just have to find a location and what not for the big hoorah. Gotta start planning very soon though. I don’t want to wait til last minute like last year.

I am so greatful for being blessed with such an adorable,healthy and smart toddler. Sure she throws temper tantrums every now and then and doesn’t listen sometimes,but hey-shes a kid! I love that little booger with all my heart and soul. :)

Happy 20 months Gabby! (Ooo man!some day she’ll really be turning 20! :/)

Halloween

Halloween was pretty cool this year. Much better then last year since the kiddos didn’t really know what was going on. Lol On the 31st Gabriella’s dad and I met up with my friend Morgan and her son Ruben @ Ft. Greene Park. It was pretty cool there. Tons of kids and activities to do. Yeah the lines were long to do things but what do you expect? Especially if its free. The hayride coulda been more exciting though. Lol All in all it was a cool afternoon.

Later on that night I took Gabby trick or treating in Sunset Park. SMH. Cheap buisnesses man. SMH. We received no good candies. Not 1 choclate. Oh and Burger King gave out effin mints! Are u kidding me? Lol but its cool,not like Gabby noticed anyways. But yeah,Halloween was cool. Hope everybody had a fun and safe day! :)
